Common Rack Types from a Nanjing Rack Factory
Nanjing rack maker Tongnuo Racks mainly supplies the following types of warehouse racks: heavy-duty beam (pallet) racks, mold racks, medium-duty shelving, light-duty punched racks and mezzanine racks, covering scenarios from manual picking to forklift operations and from loose parts to palletized goods.
Heavy-duty pallet rack. Roll-formed from cold-rolled steel sheet, uprights can reach 6m with no splice in between; beams use quality square steel for high load capacity and low deformation. Beams connect to uprights via cylindrical protrusion inserts for reliable, easy-to-assemble joints, and are fitted with locking pins to stop beams being knocked off during forklift work. All rack surfaces go through pickling, phosphating and electrostatic spraying for corrosion and rust resistance and a clean look, suiting large warehouses.
Medium-duty rack. With a smart look and sensible structure, it assembles and disassembles easily without screws, is sturdy and carries a good load, and is widely used in shops, supermarkets, enterprise warehouses and institutions. Each level typically carries 200 to 500kg, suiting manual picking of cartoned or loose goods.
Light-duty rack. The light-duty punched rack is a versatile structural system widely used to build light shelving, workbenches, tool carts, hanging systems, safety guarding and support frames. Punched angle steel can be cut quickly at marked lengths and screwed together, adjusted and reassembled, suiting both carefully planned needs and urgent use.
Mezzanine rack. A fully bolted structure whose deck can use wood board, checker plate or steel plate, flexibly designed as two or more levels. It suits small-package, loose-part storage of hardware, electronics and machinery components, and makes full use of space for a wide variety of small-batch goods.
Special racks. There are also six other categories — mold racks, oil-drum racks, flow racks, mesh frames, order-picking ladders and mesh partition rooms — for dedicated setups matched to specific material shapes and handling methods.
