Structure and Customization of Shelving Rack
Shelf-type rack, also called shelf deck rack, is assembled from uprights, beams, horizontal bracing, diagonal bracing and shelf panels. It is a commonly used rack form in warehouses operated by manual picking. Double rows of diamond-shaped holes are punched on the uprights and joined with nylon self-locking bolts, which effectively prevents rack instability caused by loosened bolts. Tongnuo Racks provides customization and fabrication of shelf-type racks according to the customer's warehouse layout and material characteristics.
Adjustable level height and shelf options. Adjustment holes are punched every 50 mm along the uprights, so the shelves can be moved up or down at this pitch to accommodate goods of different heights. Shelf panels can be steel panels, wood panels or wire mesh decks, laid between two beams to form a complete storage level.
How the racks combine. The rack uses a plug-in structure for easy assembly and flexible combination. One starter bay can be paired with any number of add-on bays placed side by side; when more storage is needed later, simply keep adding add-on bays to one side of the starter, extending the whole row and increasing storage space.
Suitable scenarios. Shelf-type racks offer good overall load capacity and suit manual picking of small-batch, multi-variety, small-item goods. They are widely used in storerooms, workshops and warehouse distribution centers. The number of levels, span and level height can be customized according to goods size, weight and the warehouse ceiling height.
